CFQ’s Kettlebell Worskshop will take place on August 12, 2012 from 12pm to 2pm
The first of a series in 2012, the workshop is free for unlimited monthly members and 40$ for all others.
The first 5 participants to sign up will receive a free Functional Movement Screening, Limit is 12 participants.
The workshop is two hours. You will learn the Russian Kettebell Certification techniques and their difference from CrossFit for Turkish Get Ups, Kettlebell Swings and Cleans. In this workshop expect to learn clean technique, make corrections and of course finish with a WOD.
This workshop will be presented by Ari K. Harris RKC II,CK-FMS, USA-W, NASM CPT, FMS
Ari has been a personal trainer for the past 13 years. Over the years Ari has worked with individuals and groups from ages 12-74, high school basketball players to grandparents.Constantly improving his knowledge base Ari calls himself a “permanent beginner”, a phrase he borrowed from renowned strength coach and Master RKC Dan John. Each year Ari takes time to travel to workshops and seminars and enjoys being, “the dumbest person in the whole room”. It’s this mindset that allows him to continue to learn to bring more to his clients and classes. Currently Ari is an RKC II instructor as well as a TRX level 2 trainer. A self proclaimed master of old school dances, Ari has been known to break out in dance during classes.
Note: Participants need towels for swing & clean corrections
