About CrossFit Queens
Where are you located?
CrossFit|Community|Specialty Classes are located at 2550 31st Street, Astoria, New York 11102. The cross streets are Astoria Blvd and 28th Avenue.
FLEXFiiT Classes are located down the street at 25-34 31st Street, Astoria, New York 11102. Right next to SVL Bar!
How does CrossFit Queens work?
At CFQ, we run our workouts as group class sessions coached by certified coaches. Your coach will put you through a warm up, teach you a skill or lift to practice, and lead you through a workout as a group. You can expect to learn and challenge yourself in each session.

What is CrossFit?

How Do I Get Started?
All new athletes are able to jump right in to our WOD classes. Our coaches will help you to scale the movements and workouts to your fitness level. More details on how to get started can be found on our Getting Started page.

I haven’t worked out in a while, will I be able to do this?
Fitness is for everyone. All ages and types. All of our movements and workouts are scalable to individual abilities.
I have/had an injury. Can I still do CrossFit?
We advise that you consult your physician before starting this (or any other) exercise program. If you have been restricted from exercise for medical reasons, you will need to wait until you have been cleared by your physician to exercise. If you have a physical injury that requires special attention, it is recommended that you discuss your condition with one of our coaches before beginning our programs.
Do I need to bring anything with me to my workouts?
Expect to sweat, so please wear appropriate workout attire. We have a water fountain, so be sure to bring your water bottle!

Is the gym open when classes are not going on?
We have daily Open Gym times from 8am-6:30pm. Also, during non-class hours, feel free to use our facility to make up a WOD or get some mobility work in!
I am an experienced CrossFitter visiting from another affiliate. Can I come workout?
We welcome experienced CrossFitters from all over. Our drop-in fee is $25 per person; just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your spot.
