Ragnar Relay-Adirondacks

What is it you may ask: The Ragnar relay is a 12 (or 6 person) team relay race. In a period of 2 days and 1 night, we will cover approximately 200 miles. Each individual on the team will run 3 legs. The legs of the race vary in difficulty and distance (from 3-8 miles) allowing for both elite and novice runners (like me) to get their fill! So, if your into running and are looking for a different type of challenge and style of race, look no further Ragnar is here; but if your like me and dread every time a run comes up in a warm-up or wod, this is the perfect opportunity to suck-it up, train and have an unforgettable experience.

Why it’s so fun: Who wouldn’t love to run through the incredible terrain of the Adirondacks with a team of 12 of your favorite, funniest and craziest crossfit queens peeps, plus have a “slumber” party, only without the sleeping, pillow or deodorant! An added bonus, we get to wear crazy costumes (which I know we all love), have some interesting inside jokes and end the race with a finish line party that includes beer.

When/Where: September 28-29. The relay starts at the Saratoga Spa State Park in Saratoga Springs, skirts along the Hudson River, passes through the Lake George region, up the southern side of Lake Champlain and ends in Lake Placid, the home of two winter Olympic Games.

How much it costs: If the team registers early (the deadline is June 20) the cost is 1,200 (that means 100.00 per runner). If we register by July 20, the fee goes up to 1,380 (115.00 per runner). The faster we get a team together the cheaper it will be. Please note that there are additional costs like the hotel, gas, food, gear and van rentals. If your interested or curious please contact Juliana at jewlzja26@gmail.com, so we can set-up an information session asap.
