ANNOUNCEMENTS

-Happy Father’s Day to all the CrossFit Queens dads!

-The Olympic Weightlifting Throwdown Series is coming!  Want to see how you measure up with other athletes? Try this event on for size. The workout will take place at the box on June 23, and you can click here to register.  For more information, see Coach Nick.

-The Ragnar Relay is coming up this September 28-29.  Over two days, teams of 6 or 12 will cover approximately 200 miles in the Adirondacks, starting in Saratoga Spa State Park. Early registration (by June 20) is $1200 per team, and goes up to $1,380 after that date.  This does not include transportation or lodging for this event.

There will be an information session tomorrow, June 18th at 8pm at the box. To RSVP for the session, and to get more information about the event, contact Juliana at jewlzja26@gmail.com.

-The Adventure Racing Team wants you to do Rugged Maniac for free. Come to any of their training sessions (Wednesday at 7am and Saturday at 9am) to claim your raffle and a chance to win free entry to the race on June 30th.

-Beginners Classes are now in session. Want to get started with CrossFit Queens? Come in for our beginners sessions and learn the nine core CrossFit movements at your own pace. Classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday at 7am, and 8pm, and on Saturday at 9am.

-CFQ and CFNYC are going Gaga! This July 21, join athletes from both boxes as we take a field trip to the Gaga Center for a Gaga Ball Outing. Best described as dodgeball in a pit, Gaga is a fast paced and high energy sport played in an octagonal pit. The cost of this outing is $35 per person, and there is a 40 player maximum.
