Rest day – Friday
Get comfortable with uncomfortable.

Super Kumar
If you want to find the next level to your performance, life or work, get comfortable with uncomfortable. This saying applies to so many areas of life. Business coaches use this term to coach highly motivated entrepreneurs in their new ventures. Athletic coaches use this to push their elite athletes performance to the absolute max. We use this to push you to find and challenge your own potential in the gym.
If you’re always comfortable, you’re stagnant. If you’re never uncomfortable, you’ll never get new or better results. How do we get stronger? We stress our bodies and muscles until they are uncomfortable. What would it take for you try something outside of your comfort zone this week? It will take courage. You’ll experience fear and excitement. You might fail, and that’s ok. If you don’t fail, how do you know your limits, how do you grow, how do you get stronger? You wont. Even if you fail, you’ve proven you have the courage to attempt an act that you were previously afraid of and now it’s not so scary. Now you have the courage to try it again. But I bet if you try and succeed, you’ll feel amazing! You’ll feel alive! Not only did you find the courage to try something new, overcome fear and succeed, but your comfort zone just became one more act larger. Imagine if you did this every week, every day. How huge would your comfort zone be and how confident would you feel?
I challenge you to try something outside your comfort zone during our rest day. I don’t care if it isn’t a CrossFit act. Just try something. Post the uncomfortable act, result and feeling to comments.
Get comfortable with uncomfortable and you’ll be great.
